The United We Funk All-Stars (UWF All-Stars) represent a coming together of the hottest names in funk. Formed in 1999, United We Funk is a show stopping act that uses the identifiable voices of the biggest selling bands of the funk era as one band -
Their first album, United We Funk, offered 14 sizzling tracks, ranging from the hardcore funk of Rick James and the Gap Band to the smooth contemporary funk of the Dazz Band and the SOS Band. The album also contains the last two known recordings from the late funk pioneer, Roger Troutman. He appears with the All-Stars on Party Train and Nothin But a Party.
The second album, Tom Joyner presents the UWF All-Stars Live, is another treat for the music industry. Featured on the live album are the old funk classics like, You Dropped a Bomb on Me, Joystick, Take Your Time, Do It Right, Love's Train and Freak Show on the Dance Floor.
Their live performances on stage are an incredible sight to behold, featuring classic hits such as No Parking On The Dance Floor, Fun Fun Fun and Let It Whip.
